Our nearest town has a
wonderful thing- it has a creek running through it, a clean, swimmable, most drinkable creek. This is a rarity in Australia these days. I have
stayed in towns where the water that ran through it, was either a sad trickle of
mud or a filthy smelly stream full of rubbish.
Summertime evenings, on
our way home from adventuring we stop at this most loved spot and play, it is
surprisingly warm, collecting sun rays all the way down from the snowy
mountains. This creek boasts rapids, shallow and deep points, a stunning rock
wall and lush grass around to lie upon. It really is a dreamy stream!
