Felting a Motherpeace tarot bag!

My motherpeace cards deserve a beautiful tarot bag, for being a mirror to my spirit and a gateway to clarity.
And so last night I set about making one with some alpaca fleece.
The process:
Firstly carding, then felting, sewing the pieces together, needle felting a spiral and the word peace then adding felt buttons.
Oh and the photographs.. which let me tell you, when it comes to felt, I find the subject matter, so very challenging to capture nicely.
After this I gave my friend a reading- never give another gypsy girl a reading, cause she will probably know more than yourself, and somewhere in communication, the table will be turned and you may become the readings very subject…
She may debate and feel perfectly comfortable to negate all that you say, eventually coming to some agreed conclusion... this sort of reading is wonderfully inspired.  A true gypsy can turn black into white and charm away the very logic from your lips.

A reading that inspires passion and questioning is a good indication that movement is afoot, and in the nature of a traveller… movement is a safe bet anyway

  1. I so know the feeling, been there! Luckily I read Lenormand cards so it doesn't happen too often that those sitting on the other side of the table are too familiar with them, but it has definitely happened with the Tarot! Your bag is delightful, how nifty to felt one, I have a couple of decks without a nice place to sleep, so maybe this would be something to do.....hmmmmm, thanks for the idea! I must ask what cards are you using they look so very interesting.

  2. Star, I'm sending you love and wild orange supernova faery wings for you to fly Beautiful One, meet me up in the sky we'll drink tea on the moon and sigh...

Oh, you've done it again... hail inspiration. My tarot's - you so kindly gave me - are in a handmade silk bag, but it is flimsy and I need something with a bit more oomph to hold them snuggly together. Thank you! Love Katie xxx
