It came in super long skeins and so with a project in mine, I took out my yarn treasure and began to wind a ball with my fingers, as I have no yarn winder (hint to Santa) but something happened...
I become distracted, mindlessly leaving this attractive heap, half wound on the bed- big mistake- big big mistake.
So I am now in the second hour of unraveling, with a few more hours to go, until I can triumphantly begin on my cow cowl project, for snuggly protection during the cold moments in the barn.
I had also been wondering, what to do for the faery flag
label, for some time...
Trying this and that.
Until an idea happened upon my mind...
At the back of a draw buried underneath pens, wool
felt and rolls of sticky tape sit my unused business cards from my last life, they
feature a lovely blue lotus…a quick snip to the words and I have myself a faery flags label.
At least things are going well in this department of my creative life...

Oh, and a quick reminder of the faerymother flag giveaway!

Gorgeous wool and blue lotus.
ReplyDeleteI did some unravelling of something i had knitted recently ( whoops.. another lapse in concentration! ), and then spent 2 hours trying to unravel the pile of wool. We live and learn!
I understand why you couldn't go past the wool :-) And the lotus labels seem perfect!
