Am I crazy enough to move to India, open a gallery and
unschooled my children... Well yes, not that I think one needs to be crazy to
do any of that... but isn’t it much easier to get a house in the country, milk your
own cows and grow your own food... maybe, we have done that too and that is
we're I started this blog 1.5 yrs ago, chronicling our days as country peasants
on the DIY, self sufficiency rumble.
In late 2012 we opened Tibetan Sacred Arts, a gallery, studio and
training center dedicated to preserving the Tibetan culture and the amazing traditional skills
which include silk appliqué and embroidery, weaving, wool work, painting, knot
work, wood work and sculpture.
We also open the space to other artists and crafters.
2013 has seen us take to the road with our travels and my husbands creative workshops but sooner or later our
Sacred Art range will be launched, which will include ethnic contemporary
furnishings, children’s ware, yarn, embroidery materials, and play things.
Oh and my range of blessing flags.
There is a lot of work to do.
I have 2 beautiful children and a fantastic husband and
feel warmed to share our days however messy here with you.
Oh and I like sitting on a cushion looking at my mind,
pretending to write a book and calling myself a gypsy.

What a life you have chosen for your self. So many wish for but never dare come out of the safety of there 9-5 job and the rat race so many live in today. When I was younger I worked and studied at a Waldorf School in a very small town in southern IN. I love the teachings of the Waldorf learning and to this day I fell this is what our early education should be in all public schools. So live your life to the fullest as best you can!!!
